Hi there! Like other blogs, this is my chance to wax lyrical (some might say talk utter cr*p) about a) what's happening in my life b) all of my pet obsessions in particular music, tv, movies, books and other generally connected things, quite often of the retro, old and "cheesy" variety. Hence the title of my blog. Feel free to leave a comment if the mood takes you. There's nothing like a good chinwag about one's favourite topics and besides I love to meet new people!

Snickers? Knickers!!
Just read this story on Lubin Odana's blog and had to nick it (erm cheers, Lubin). Read and be gripped by a (justifiable) feeling of incensement!!
Surely, it's 'incensitude'? or maybe 'incensosity'?
That being said, the whole thing is utterly ridiculous. What exactly were Mars thinking would be the outcome of this? I mean, are the '18-to-24 adult males' that they are apparently aiming for really going to think that 'hey, those guys don't like kissing each other, that makes me want to eat a Snickers'?
Having said that, Snickers are horrid anyway. And I miss the days when they were called 'Marathon'.

Yes oh master, a new post is on it's way...I feel like I have a backlog of posts-to-write stacking up at present: The Sarah Jane Adventures...Space:1999...New Beginnings DVD Dr Who boxset...the list goes on. Did you like my Will Powers post?
