  1. We decided long ago to not waste our money on a day which is really meant for new lovers. Maybe I'm a cynical old bag, but 16 years of marriage can do that to a person. Besides, all the restaurants round here a all booked up for tonight. Maybe a quiet night in with an Indian takeaway and a few bottles of beer ... that'll do me just fine, thanks! LOL

  2. Hi Lisa - Thanks for your comment and welcome! I know what you mean, me and my fella aren't planning on doing anything major tonight. And unlike yourself, we've only been married, erm, a year and a half!

Probably just a meal at home tonight which will still be pleasant. I have also got him a Whitney Houston CD, who he likes. No comments please!

  3. Ha, yes, a gift would be nice, and you've succeeded in making me feel guilty enough to want to go out and buy one after work ... but I think it may not be a CD. If I have to listen to Bon Jovi or Guns 'n' Roses one more time I swear I'll throttle him in his sleep. Give me Whitney Houston any time. On second thoughts, don't. Actually, I wonder if he'd appreciate a Kylie CD? ... thoughts wandering ...

( : Who needs a man when I got a Ken Reichen vibrator? (just kidding)

  5. We don't do it, I'm afraid. It's too near our anniversary and I don't suit red.

  6. A very expensive bunch of red roses for my wife... and a night in. ;-)

  7. Lisa - Ha ha, the things we have to put up with from our spouses, eh?

You can't go wrong with Kylie!

Deemer - I'll bear the vibrator comment in mind if I ever get divorced/become single.

Lost Boy - Fair enough, your anniversary is very important I'd say!

Steve - Nice! A night in doing precisely WHAT though?
