JR, Sue Ellen and Bobby all came back, amongst others I think.

It was actually Bobby's wife, Pam (Victoria Principal) who dreamt an entire season, when the producers decided to bring Patrick D back (having killed him off previously). Pammy gets out of bed, goes to the showers and hey presto! It's her husband in the shower - turns out he ain't dead after all! What a nice surprise! I think that storyline was the most derided of all; I can't imagine why.

And no, you don't live under a rock, you HAVE A LIFE!! Unlike old saddo me!!

Actually , a friend of mine with whom I went to sixth form college, used to be a big Dallas / Dynasty fan like me and we used to chat about the shows all the time. We loved them! Dallas / Dynasty were all the rage in the 1980s. We even re-used the Sue Ellen / Mandy conversation in a soap opera of our own which we wrote called "Surreal Cafe". And oddly enough my friend turned out to be gay as well. Strange that, eh? Anyway after all these years, I am still have a fondness of certain soap operas whilst he is now into other things. On many an occasion he has told me: "Er Simon, I think it's time you moved on ... "

I don't know WHY that is.Old Cheeserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17871751335676050949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8262218.post-1167094555294460902006-12-26T00:55:00.001+00:002006-12-26T00:55:00.001+00:00...and didn't he dream a season or something?!?!!?......and didn't he dream a season or something?!?!!?mattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792716037555018912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8262218.post-1167094543017760342006-12-26T00:55:00.000+00:002006-12-26T00:55:00.000+00:00There was a reunion? ...in many ways, I live under...There was a reunion?

...in many ways, I live under a rock.

Sad, really.

That's right! It was in fact PATRICK Duffy (aka The Man From Atlantis) who played the "good" Ewing, Bobby.

I have to agree, JR is/was not exactly my definition of horny. Sue Ellen didn't have great taste on that score. Still perhaps older, grey-haired men did it for her ... and maybe old JR was erm ... gifted in other departments. Personally I was happiest when she left Dallas with Ian "Lovejoy" McShane (an English actor too darling), after he helped her to make a Citizen Kane style movie which dissed JR to the max. Go girl!! Why the f*ck did she have to get back with JR in the Reunion? Have you no brains, Sue Ellen?Old Cheeserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17871751335676050949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8262218.post-1166927092527506832006-12-24T02:24:00.000+00:002006-12-24T02:24:00.000+00:00poor sue ellen! so, was JR supposed to be "hot" ? ...poor sue ellen!

so, was JR supposed to be "hot" ?

...am I missing something on that score. The other guy who was on that show --- can't think of his name. The one who was married to Victoria (can't think of her last name but she dated my love, Andy Gibb, in real life) was hot. Peter Duffy! That was his name! He was hot!

...but, JR? Did sue ellen ever get to make it with Peter!??!? Hope so!mattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792716037555018912noreply@blogger.com
